Though the mammoth was of a different species, Crash and Eddie's mother decided to adopt her. One winter, when Crash and Eddie were both small, their mother had found a young mammoth calf out in the snow, calling for its herd. Being a possum, his is one of the smallest members of the cast. He is acrobatic, flexible, and highly energetic. His face is pale with a brown streak running down his snout. They can also show acts of loyalty towards their friends and their beloved sister.Įddie has a long slender body with stripy dark brown and light tan fur like his brother Crash. They are also prone to be very scared when faced danger at times, that they play dead to fool foes. They also cling to each other a lot when faced against trouble. Eddie is sometimes more of scaredy cat than his brother Crash, especially when something goes wrong.

It caters to an audience in their pre-school years, but diehard fans will love reliving the antics of their favourite characters.Eddie is a mischievous possum who enjoys doing dangerous stunts and playing pranks with his brother Crash. Unfortunately, the script by Jim Hecht, William Schifrin and Ray De Laurentis, though packed with worthwhile messages, and some good laughs, offers nothing novel or stimulating. Humour comes in the form of conversational banter and physical comedy. The voices of the ace star cast match perfectly with that of the characters and the soundtrack further elevates the viewing experience. The animation and the setting are painstakingly created and are picture-perfect.Īpart from the characters mentioned above, there is the silly, sibilant sloth Sid (Jake Green), the grumpy sabre-toothed tiger Diego (Skyler Stone), Buck’s estranged friend Zee (Justina Machado), and a whole lot of minor characters who make the Ice Age Universe appealing. Each one of them is distinct and attractive. There is a certain visual appeal to the film.

How Buck Wild (Simon Pegg), the one-eyed, swashbuckling, adventurous weasel, rescues them from the dinosaurs, and especially from Orson (Utkarsh Ambudkar), their large-headed leader, forms the crux of the narrative. The dinosaurs pursue them and as they escape, a crazy and funny chase ensues. Soon, the possum brothers find themselves trapped in the Lost World, a massive cave inhabited by dinosaurs who co-exist with giant spiders and enormous carnivorous plants.
